How To Measure Wallcoverings

Want to know how much wallpaper to buy? Use this easy to follow guide, couresy of Seabrook Wallcoverings on how to measure for wallpaper and wallpaper borders. This Wallpaper Calculator makes it easy for you to calculate the numbers of rolls of wallpaper and spools of borders to buy per room or wall.

When using the calculators, please remember the following:
  • Do not deduct for windows or doors. Having a little extra wallpaper can be very helpful.
  • Round your measurements up to the nearest foot before entering.

BORDER CALCULATORS

The number of Single Rolls needed is based on a Standard pattern repeat of 18 inches or less. If your wallcovering repeat is larger than 18inches, allow for extra wallcovering or contact a dealer near you for assistance.

Wallpaper is calculated and sold by the Single Roll, but packaged in Double Rolls.

The number of Spools needed is based on a Standard length of 5 yards.
